How to crop objects outside the stage in Adobe Flash CS6

Note: The purpose of this tutorial is to explain how to crop objects outside the stage if you want to clean up any clutter around  your animation. In the example above, you might later on want to make the clouds move using a motion tween. If that is case, then it is not a good idea to crop the clouds.

How to use gradients in Adobe Flash CS6

You can use gradient colours in Adobe Flash CS6 for shapes that you have drawn using the pencil/brush tools or the shape tools. You can create two types of gradients: Linear gradients and Radial gradients. Gradients can combine two or more colours and you can customise the distance between the different colours as well as the angle they follow.
